The town has a lively social element to it with summer night markets, regular concerts in the cafes and bars, a cinema which shows English language films and a selection of clubs and societies. There are schools, shops and services as well as a weekly market every Friday. International airports are close by at Bergerac and Bordeaux, there is a railway station at nearby La Reole and there are good connections to the nearest autoroute.
