Pretty stone longere, fully renovated with a bright conservatory and outside terrace. Lovely Renovated Stone Longere Nestled In The Countryside But Not Isolated.

On the ground floor: Large bright terrace curtained by glass doors, with a tiled floor, leading to the main lounge with large dining area, the original open fireplace and apparent beams in the ceiling. This room has an open staircase which leads to two generous size bedrooms, a smaller bedroom, plus a shower room and WC.

Back on the ground floor; the main lounge/diner flows through to a good size fitted kitchen, a bathroom, again with WC and another lounge with a wood burner. A staircase from this room to a pretty mezzanine area above.

The property is nestled in the countryside surrounded by over 2,000 m2 of grounds. There is also a hanger and wooden garden shed plus parking area to the side entrance.

It is not isolated, but sits in a very calm environment.

This lovely home deserves a visit.

The department of Finistere has a feeling of being carved out of the earth by the sea and is the wildest area of Brittany, it is also the most western of all French departments. The name Finistere comes from the Latin phrase 'finis terrae', meaning 'land's end'.

It has the English Channel to the north, Cotes-d'Armor and Morbihan to the east, the Bay of Biscay to the south and the Atlantic Ocean to the west.

Quimper, the department's capital, is located to the south and has a distinctive Breton character just like all the main towns such as Brest, Chateaulin, Morlaix and Quimper. Over a third of the area is covered with forest, moors and scrubland.

Along the coast, farmers divide their time between commercial fishing and working their small farms. To see the Fish-markets, Douarnenez is worth a visit as is Brest which is on the west coast and is also a major naval port.
