This property is set in the heart of a popular village on the Nantes Brest canal, on a quarter acre plot with a single garage and a full basement.

From the front door the tiled hallway has doors off to the kitchen (10m2) which over looks the gardens and an archway through to a good sized dining room (15m2) with large windows over looking the village. On the opposite side of the hallway is the 25m2 living / dining room which runs the length of the house. This room is very light, has attractive wooden floors a fireplace housing the wood burner and lovely views over the garden and countryside beyond.

An attractive wood staircase winds up to the first floor. Here we have an open central landing area where the wooden floor continues into the four bedrooms. Also on this floor is the family bathroom and a hatch up to a boarded attic space.

The basement of this house is the footprint of the building (56m2) and has a workshop/ store area, a tiled laundry / utility area and a cosy games room area - great for the teenagers or a 'man cave!'. A door from the basement leads out to the garden. The garden is delightful, mainly laid to lawn at the bottom end - an ideal space for a kick around, with a more formal bar-b-que area up next to the house, with a water feature flower beds and space for a veggie patch it is a relaxing place to be.

Just minutes away from the Nantes brest canal and Abbey de Bon Repos, the area is also popular for walkers and cycling. There are many other tourist attractions including the lakes of Guerledan which are within easy reach too. You are not far from the towns of Mur de Bretagne and Rostrenen which are pleasant towns both with all amenities, weekly markets and venues with regular live music. It's a good location to live or for holidays.

The department of Cotes d'Armor is the northern most department in the Region of Brittany, with the English Channel to the north, Ille-et-Vilaine to the east, Morbihan to the south and Finistere to the west it is a sunshine gem.

The picturesque Émeraude Coast looks north to the English Channel and is packed with charming seaside resorts and old fishing villages. Most of the towns of the interior were founded in the Middle Ages. The department's southern half is crossed by the Noires Mountains that run west to east with rivers emptying to the south into the Bay of Biscay and to the north into the Channel.

Along the coast, fishing was once important but is now secondary to the cultivation of fruit, oats, potatoes and wheat and of course tourism.
