Country house with four bedrooms
Traditional stone property with more recent extension, this house sits in an elevated position with delightful views over the surrounding countryside.
A delightful detached country house, the building dates back to the 19th Century and comprises a traditional stone building to the rear with a more recent extension (post-war) to the front.
The newer part of the house was built on the foundations of the front part of the original building and the old cellar still exists.
The property sits on a plot of around one acre (about half a hectare). Half of the plot is a mature, well-stocked, south-facing garden with established shrubs and a variety of fruit trees. The other half is a meadow, currently used for hay. It could make a nice area for horses or other animals.
A new Fosse septic meeting current requirements, was installed in 2011.
The property is situated in a hamlet, around half a km outside the village.
Nearby Champagne-Mouton provides a supermarket, local shops, Post Office, weekly market, bar/restaurant, pharmacy, builders merchants, primary school and doctor.
Nanteuil-en-Vallee, one of the prettiest villages in France, is only 10 minutes drive. There is a magnificent church and abbey, several good restaurants and a local shop, pharmacy and Post Office.
